Range: Madagascar
Physical description: Fairly large in size. Dorsal side is red with dark brown membrane. Scutellum is elongate. Appendages are brownish-black, except for light colored tibias. Ventral side is black and red (red mostly confined to posterior margins of the abdominal segments).
